- Use a company of which you are familiar or can become familiar with its Supply/Value Chain. Avoid using a generic diagram. Construct a Supply/Value Chain that is reflective of the company you are studying.
- Build a supply/value chain plan and diagram for the company by analyzing factors that affect sourcing, logistics, metrics, suppliers, and risk.
- Create your supply/value chain diagram using one of the following tools: Excel or Other faculty-approved platform
Using the information developed above, Write an 875-word analysis of the supply chain operations plan. Include the following in your analysis:
• Include a visual depiction of your supply/value chain diagram
• Your supply chain plan that includes,
Value chain and flow of structure analysis
Inputs (Raw materials)
Outputs (Finished products)
Sourcing activities (The efficient and effective purchasing of raw materials and finished goods)
Risks (Associated with the success or failure of the supply chain)
Locations (Relative to supplier to manufacturer to retailer to customer)
Logistics (Transportation)
